I don't get it. How is this a coupe?
Designing a love child with a big SUV mother and an ultra-long shooting brake-esque sedan father doesn't spawn a coupe. It just doesn't. At this rate, the continued bastardization of the word's definition will result in it not meaning a damn thing pretty soon, except as a semi-useless marketing term.

Besides: It's not just Porsche. You know that as well as I do. If we applied Porsche's apparent definition of a coupe, which seems to revolve around a shorter, lower version of a particular model (the Cayenne): - Pretty much all GT versions made by BMW are coupe versions of X Series vehicles, and - The 5 Series is a coupe version of the 7 Series, the 3 Series is a coupe version of the 5 Series, and the 1 Series in China is a coupe version of the 3 Series All of which is bunk because BMW has its own liberal and significantly divergent 'coupe' definition, i.e. the Gran Coupe. Explain to me how this makes sense etymologically?
