I posed the Snopes article since it hard to believe the media these days. The NAACP is going to petition Congress to remove “The Star-Spangled Banner” as the national anthem. “The Star-Spangled Banner” has now been declared offensive to people of color.

I personally suspect this is an attempt by the NAACP to change the conversation about pro athletes who decided to take a knee during the national anthem as being unpatriotic, and viewers deciding not to watch it anymore. The NAACP wants to paint the critics of the athletes as racist, because it was not about athlete disrespecting the Flag and such it was really about them standing up against a racist song they were being force to sing.

So, this shouldn't be a surprise as a few months back when all the rage seemed to be the statue or Robert E Lee, Columbus and Robert Lee on ESPN I remarked that was only the beginning. I also posted about Washington and Jefferson being slave owners and suggested that before long the demands would come to start making changes, so I'm going to make a prediction.......Obama DC for a new name......discuss.

Hey did you know my grandmother was once arrested for purposefully walking into the front entrance of a hotel.
