2019 Aston Martin Vantage
I'm quite disappointed of the front which reminds me the MX-5 too much. Back view and the interior look better
Your opinon? Motor: V8 AMG - 510 hp Topspeed : 314 kmh - 195 mph

Seems to have a lot of ground clearance looking at that side view. Love the rear, hate the the contrasting side grill vent thing, and those wheels are boring AF.

Not perfect, but I have to say I like it. Could that front clip use a little something to make it less stark? Yes, but it doesn't hurt the design enough for me to mind it. And I honestly like that bright neon yellow one better than the more subdued gray one above. Might as well go loud if you are going with a high end sports car.
The bigger problem with contemporary Aston Martin is that the new V12 isn't being exploited to offer a true high performance alternative to the V8. I realize they aren't announcing a V12 option for this new Vantage yet, but it is reported to be coming later. To me the V12 needs to be at 700hp or so, else why bother? They could get 600hp+ from the V8 with the right tune and turbo setup, just as Mercedes does. And in any case, in the DB11, the V8 and V12 are nearly equal in acceleration (I'm sure the V12 has a higher top speed, sure) despite the latter having a 100hp advantage. Maybe if the V12 were still naturally aspirated that would give it the leg up over the V8, but it is turbocharged as well. I get it - the V12 has a prestige factor and that's why its there, but that doesn't mean it should be given a pass to offer such small tangible performance benefit over the V8. |

Best looking "regular" Aston in several years.

Certainly steps away from the design language they've used for the last twenty or so years, which is refreshing. Has a little brutality to it, like a TVR. Grille is weird, but I'll probably get used to it. Inside makes a first gen Panamera seem under buttoned, awful.

The interior looks like it's a very special place to be. Very fond of this look, I like the new design, just not sure about the front end, something feels unfinished, and that grill is massive, looks like a catfish. The front end doesn't turn me off from the whole car though, it's gorgeous, especially the back end.

Exactly, and I bet they are using the 4.0 MB engine as well which completely kills the point of an Aston Martin. Can't stand it when manufacturers use the same engine in every car they make and AMG has been doing that forever. Might as well save some $$ and get the AMG GT S, or move up to a R8 or GT3.
