definitely!!!
This car is motorsport nirvana to me. LOL, I'd run out and buy a bushel basket of loto tickets, ... except allocations are/will be impossible anyway.

Text of the article in the National Post on this car.
The 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 RS gets 520 horsepower, aero tweaks
Porsche is sending off the 991.2-generation 911 with a range-topping example of the model, the GT3 RS version, photos and details of which were leaked early February ahead of an official debut in March. The leaked images (since removed) from Australia’s Drive show a 911 that gets the same modifications as the GT3 plus some added RS bits, including a new GT2 RS-style hood with twin NACA ducts; and the front wheel arch louvers borrowed from the last GT3 RS. The front air intakes have bee facelifted and the rear fascia revised. A massive rear wing draws your eye around back. The 4.0-litre naturally aspirated engine sitting under that wing is reported to see a 20-horsepower power bump, so that it now delivers 520 total. That much grunt, channeled through a seven-speed PDK transmission, should help the GT3 RS see zero to 100 km/h runs happen in 3.2 seconds; and top speeds tip 312 km/h. The images and information were leaked out, so expect fuller specs and better-resolution photos after the car’s official reveal, expected to happen early March in Geneva. |

It is being honed into a VERY special car! Love it, but would love it more with a third pedal.

I'd be willing to slum it by downgrading to a .2 GT3 for its 6MT.

The .1 RS is already a spectacular car. I would have to say best car I've ever driven. This is only going to be better, and I even like the looks a little more.

I find it hard to get excited about unobtanium.
It looks good though.

While we're at it, I'll take mine (dreaming...) with the free Touring pkg (w/blackout trim) for an even more subtle look. That gloriously noisy engine will attract enough unwanted attention without gaudy wings and scoops.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love one but 90% plus people could never get the performance out of one of these weapons, this is why I like the old cars. Performance is maxed out and I just enjoy the drive. Just my two cents. |

I agree. I think the business model of incremental updates every 12–18 months needs to change. It’s a serious marketing ploy. Virtually everyone on Rennlist who has the pervious version is already prepping for the flip. They can’t possibly believe a 20HP increase and new designed aero is vastly different. You can also see the panic within the M community. Guys asking if they should trade a ‘17 for an ‘18 etc. madness.
