Ski lift brake failure
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOmr0n9kw6s
My brother sent me this conveniently while we are out skiing Whitefish Montana, guess this happened somewhere in the country of Georgia today. I would most definitely be taking my chances with the jump, amazingly no one was killed

The first guy who just got of like that was normal deserves a medal. The family that got ejected might have made me laugh. Might still have me laughing.

Holy crap - there was a single person that didn't jump that got SMASHED into a bunch of stuff. Wow. Gotta be aware of your surroundings!

Lighten up goobers. Was any one killed? (One person was listed as being in supervised care as of a day ago, ten others have been released.) If you've ever skied, or worked in a ski area, you've surely let it run through your head what could go wrong with a lift or gondola. This is that realized.
Clearly a smart and generous soul was yelling at the folks trapped on the descending chairs to get off. Some folks were clearly too scared to dump themselves out and paid the consequences. If you've laughed at a Mustang leaving C&C or anything similar, you're a hypocrite. |

Does "Breeyah!" mean "Jump?" The guy with the GoPro helped a lot of people avoid more serious injury by telling them to GTFO before they hit the bottom.

Each time I see these clips I am still shocked at the people who didn't attempt to bail out towards the bottom of the lift. I imagine it's hard to think straight when one finds themselves in such a situation, but what did they think was going to happen by staying on the lift?
