I was reading ASAP 's thread about liquidity and a few of the more colorful comments when the inevitable thread jack takes place with this group and thought this would be a good topic.

Let's keep it simple: Go-bag (or 2). Do you have one? If so, what's in it. Is it travel or tactical?

Um..so Yeah I have a go bag ready to go for coke and Whores..but that is a waste of money..and let's say with pure honesty I have wasted a lot of money in my life that I'm not proud of..but now....money to invest. Prefer tips.

Bug out bag? Yes. Sort of. I have bags and gear to stuff in it but would pack according to perceived need to an extent. I have small one always ready with mostly first aid and few survival items. Always have pistol ammo and ar at hand if away from house.

I'd prefer to hunker down and defend from home. Have more tools at my disposal. Need a damn rv full of junk otherwise

I have a "get home" bag that I keep in my trunk and a BOB for each of us at the house.

Yes I do. It’s a backpack. Change of clothes, rain poncho. I also keep some powerbars and water (rotated out of course), quick clot, basic first aid, multi tool, spork, my knife, gerber tomahawk, couple extra full mags for my full frame. 40 s&w. This is just in case I can’t get home for whatever reason. The tomahawk is nice because it’s an axe, a crowbar and a hammer. I use it all the time and hang it back on the side of my bag. One of my favorite items. Do yourself a favor though and use gloves with it or wrap the handle with paracord, which is what I’ve done in case I need a rope for any reason.
