This is not the first time that we have been vacationing in this wonderful country. Nature is very similar to ours, but there are very few people around and pure nature. Just a few photos I'll leave here

What he heck is that furry land mammal?

This is arctic fox. I photographed him at the zoo, but he was able to slightly bite my daughter's hand across the grate ))

Op: I'm glad you enjoyed your time here, the part of Finland you were in is by far my favorite and I hope that we won't meet in your next visit, if you happen to be active military. I'm stationed to that corner.

Did you visit Savonlinna City? The castle, St Olaf's castle there is my favorite place on Earth.

I'm really happy you enjoyed your time here, and I'm sorry your kid got bitten. The only Finn with Rabies is I, so she should be safe.

i know what a Scandinavian flick is, but what's a Scandinavian flip? i'm on a work computer and can't go on urban dictionary...but it sounds like one of those fetish acts randomly associated with a place, such as "Cleveland steamer"

That's my autocorrect helping out again! I wrote flip, edit: flick!!!!!!!!! Fucking autocorrect! and ended up with a flip (which should be a term too, just ask my bestie who combined the two a week back, and called me to "handle it". We don't have foxes in petting zoos I hope and I truly wonder just how exactly Ivan's kid managed that but then I remembered yet an other story from my childhood.

Kolmården Zoo in Sweden, in 1987 had the pleasure of hosting a family Lups trip.

My dad kept pissing me off by demanding I'd stay away from the pen of the musk oxes. It went really well, one of them kept charging on the pen and I thought standing next to it was the coolest thing ever. We had some mild disputes over the issue which I, like the good pacifist I am and was, solved by throwing the biggest spruce cone straight to his balls.

I don't know how a person who to this day has never hit a target managed that at the age of five, but it became clear fast I managed to do a great job.

The zoo staff ran in to help, they thought my dad had been hit by the ox and my mother bravely ran away earlier when she realized that I was being me again. Dad was put in an ambulance already before he could recover enough to explain to them that the animals weren't his issue, his demon kid was.

Maybe this is a plot by the swedes to settle the zoo score. Zlaatan , any comments? Did you send in the Russians to give us a bad name? We'll fuck ya too!
