So I'm always a sucker for Thriller/Horror movies. This definitely has a "CARRIE" vibe going on. I'll give it a shot.

Idk if I'd go all the way to 'Carrie' status but it does look interesting. The currrnt crop of "thrillers" have all been letdowns because they use the typical formula. Hopefully this one deviates from the expected scare tactics.

Hmmm... I’ll give it a shot, but I agree recent thrillers have been letdowns. I’ve been trying to find scary movies (it is nearly Halloween after all) and just this weekend watched Let Me In, the Witch, Jacobs Ladder, and A Quiet Place. All were ok, but none really had me on edge... I’m open to other suggestions if you have any!

I'll probably check this one out.

BTW, Bad Times at the El Royale was a decent watch for anyone on the fence about seeing it. Worth a trip to the theater to watch. I will admit to jumping in my seat twice. Unexpected shotgun blasts mowing people down will do that I suppose.
