Yeah....it was pretty good. I didn't know Huge Weaving was the voice of "V".

Also, The Hills Have Eyes was an abortion of a movie!

i went to see it at the IMAX. i must say that as much as i love natalie portman, her british accept wasn't that good at all.

as for the movie though, i thought it was VERY well done! i love the wachowsky brothers movies and this one definitely didn't disappoint.

the movie is getting some unpleasant reviews mainly attacking blown up buildings and terrorism expressed in the story. however, i think that issue gets explained throughout the movie several times.

i thought hugo weaving excelled in this role. he was exactly what i think writers intended him to be. his british accept wasn't that impressive either but much better than that of natalie portman's.

camera work was going the right direction, idea-wise, but editing ruined it all. i would fault the director for this as he should have seen all those mistakes and unfinished thoughts and correct them.

overall, however, the movie was very powerful with excellent musical score and mostly very good writing. i'd give it 8/10, which i think what it's getting anyway.

I saw V for Vendetta on IMAX as well, I saw it at the Metreon in San Francisco. (Largest screen in N. America)

It was sick as hell.

V for Vendetta is the best film I've seen in a long time. I thoroughly loved it.

Just saw V for Vendetta myself and thought it was a great film. Had some very good twists and the score was fantastic. two

I dunno what genre it fits in. I'm not the one to ask about movie genres though. I just watch the movies and enjoy them. I can tell you if I liked it or not and what about it I liked but you'd be better off reading a serious movie critics review if you want a detailed critique.

I would say it's a fantasy movie like the matrix. Maybe more of like an action/adventure kind of genre.
