It was shown on TV here in the UK last month. I would definitely recommend watching it.

Its not the colourisation that makes the difference, its the cleaning up of the film and the slowing down to real time getting rid of the jerkiness associated with film of that period that makes it special, plus the work down by forensic lip readers in trying to work out what is being said, and then having actors with the same regional accent (worked out from the cap badges etc) to speak the words as voice over, as well as playing the interviews of those WW1 veterans recorded by the BBC in interview some 50 odd years ago, now all long gone.

I would encourage anyone that gets a chance to see this to do so.
