Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Roadster Revealed

Bugatti has surprised us today with the revealing of its open top targa version of the Veyron 16.4 called, Grand Sport. The new Bugatti will receive its public debut at this year’s Pebble Beach Concourse d’Elegance, on August 16th, 2008 at the lawn in front of the Pebble Beach Lodge.

Bugatti is calling the Grand Sport a roadster with a removable roof. Bugatti has incorporated “innovative structural solutions”, to compensate for a lack of structural integrity normally provided by a roof, however, without sacrificing performance and safety.

The very first build slot for this new car, to be built in Spring 2009, will be auctioned the next day at the renown Gooding auction at the Equestrian Center at Pebble Beach.

Imagine wind in your hair at 250mph...crazy lol. That said, I have a feeling the top speed will be quite as high as the Veyron coupe for safety reasons. Techical specs will be interesting, I'll post them when they surface.

Awesome.....1000hp targa.....And sorry HKS, the speed is limited to 217mph which is still amazin.

I may like it more than the coupe which is a rare thing for me. The color look nice too instead of the other 2 tomes colors that look like shit.

Wonder what it would feel like sticking your hand out the window at 217mph and doing that thing where you make it like a wing and the wind forces it up and down...

I was going to post something similar. Even 217mph is crazy, try lifting you head above the windscreen at that speed, your bloody head would be ripped off.
