135i vs Mustang 5.4

in a Test called a Big Car vs Big Name from some car magazine featuring Ford Mustang GT Cabrio as Big Car vs BMW 135i Cabrio as the Big Name , its a strange couple , just to let you know BMW prove to be a far more superior car than Mustang...kind of odd dont u think but numbers dont lie however Mustang V8 305Hp and 435Nm has the same power as bimmers inline 6er 306Hp and 400Nm but check this out this huge torque of 400Nm is available from 1300/min while mustangs 435Nm on 4500/min, bmw - better in acceleration to 100kmh in 5,5secs vs 6,4 , top speed of 250kmh limited vs 230kmh in mustang , fuel 11,4l/100km vs 13,9l/100km.

these two cars are seperate by 3 worlds in terms of everything.
BMW sharp steering , strong breaks , very fast sporty cabrio , needs lees fuel , faster , better quality interior and exterior
Mustang very acustcial V8 though very indirect steering , lousy brakes , lousy suspension , its automatic gear is out of date , its a boulevard crusier however mustang lacks of ESP....a total DQ , I like Mustang but the car sucks.
the price goes around 52.000 for BMW and around 47.000 euros for Mustang

Mustang may be an American icon but its not a great cabrio nor a fast car despite its huge V8 5,4....wow?!

Yep, and the other picture is a stock press photo of a 128i - not a 135i.

I'd be somewhat skeptical of any review when they either can't even get their hands on the actual cars or can't be bothered to take their own pictures.

This is the dumbest post i've ever seen.

a stock 2008 MY Ford Mustang has a 300hp 4.6L V8. it's also far inferior in terms of handling (considering the Mustang has a solid rear axle). however, for the price difference, that Mustang is an incredible base vehicle. add the difference in purchase price, and the Mustang can become a real terror.

additionally, the Mustang is a lot BIGGER than a 1-series. want to compare apples-to-apples, run the mustang against something in its size range (like a 3-series, or maybe even a 6-series). however, the Mustang isn't built to compete against that class. until now, the mustang was a class of 1, with the Challenger and Camaro coming in to compete against it. it's an entry-level american coupe. you can get one for $25k, with leather seats and a decent sound system. try getting a 1-series for $25k. i think it comes without an engine!

Judging by the background and the detail of the car I'd say it's a diecast model.

Hmmm. I stand corrected. I knew it was in a song. It must the the heat.

Bruno.......that Metallica song that says "what we have here is a failure to communicate" in it.

They are playing here next week. Maybe I should go stand out in this 100+ heat and listen for myself. NOT!

Well I disagree, I'll take on nearly ANY 335 in a straight line and you'll see nothing but tail pipes. Sorry but not all Mustangs are created equal.

They suck that much at driving? The Mustang and 135 have almost identical times to that speed according to most publications...
