[ASAP]

I picked up a pair of Airpods 2 after getting a bit tired of my Bose SoundSport Wireless... Initial impressions

Airpods-

Pros:

Much More comfortable
no cables
easy pairing and very convenient case
great design and very small and light in ear

Cons:

Sound quality so so
doesn't offer much depth
poor outside noise insulation (this may be done for runners so that you don't get run over)

Bose Soundsport-

Pros:

Much better sound quality and ear insulation
tons of depth and base

Cons:

extremely bulky
very uncomfortable
stupid wire in back that joins the pods (now a free version offered with no cable)


I think both have a slightly different use case but if you are interested in a quick and comfortable device; the airpods are it... if you want sound quality and noise insulation; the Bose are better.

I like the Bose (I have the soundsport free) because they fit my ears better and sound better. However, I would have liked to try out the Beats Powerbeats Pro but can’t seem to find any yet.

I just picked up the Powerbeats Pro, I am very happy with them.
Range doesnt seem too great, but I dont really have anything to compare to.
The only other time I use bluetooth headphones is during air travel with the Bose QC35.

The Powerbeats Pro have been great during activity. The sound is much better comparables and phone conversations with one ear in have been flawless thus far.

well AirPods 2 is almost the same with 1.. no health monitoring, no noise cancellation, and no water resistance.. yes latency is lower than first one (%20-30) and 2nd connects to calls 1.5 times faster the old one.. same battery life.. Apple is getting really greedy, not much improvement on their products on following generations.. using AirPods 1 for quite a time and i hope they ll add "something" on 3rd at least except optional wireless charge case without affecting its comfort..

Yes, this is why I wanted to go with the beats ones, I could work out, do yard work etc and not have them fall out like the apple ones do. The Bose do stick out but have never fallen out of my ears and are very comfy.

Check out Creative Outlier Air or Gold. Better sound and battery life than Airpods/Bose for less than half the price.
