I was getting ready to wax my new 330i and it occurred to me to wonder: are there are any concerns about washing and/or waxing and all the different sensors on the car?

Presumably they’re pretty robust, being out in the elements at autobahn speeds. But I don’t want to find out I wrecked one by waxing over it.

OTOH, I'd have expected to have seen something here already if it was a problem.

The manual doesn’t say much beyond “buy BMW car care products”.

No issue. I have paint protection film and ceramic coating on my car, washed and sealed it since and no issues at all.

ceramic coating has been ok for me. can't speak for wax

Have layers of glaze and seal. No problems. The regular debris is much thicker anyway than a layer of wax. Don't worry.
