Parking protection - help

Came back to my car at the train station to find some scumbag had done this. No note and no CCTV.

Are there any dash cams that could take pictures throughout the day whilst the car is parked?

is it just scratch or the guy actually break the bumper a bit as well? If it's just scratch, maybe wrapping in the first place would have save it

Nah, it has gone through the paint to the plastic. Although clear wrap would have stopped some of the scratching.

I bought an inexpensive crosstour dash cam with front and rear cameras, and supposedly will take a series of photos if the car is disturbed while parked. I haven’t had a chance to test it tho.

I was hoping that with all the cameras on the car, there would be a way to have them motion activate while parked. If wishes were fishes ....

I recently purchased a Garmin "Dash Cam 56", included with the device is a 'parking mode cable' which provides constant power, and the camera will record if it "sees" any activity within it's field of view.

My thought is that most all dash cams can be configured in a similar fashion.
