I'm really not a fan of Infiniti's design as of late, unfortunately. They had a great thing going a few years ago.

it doesn't look like it was originally intended to be a convertible ... looks more like an "after-thought" ...

Let's see...

G37S curb weight: 3670 lbs.

E92 335i weight: ~3570 lbs.

E93 335i weight: ~3950 lbs.

Now this isn't the best way to make an assumption, but given the fact that the e93 is up about 400 lbs compared to the e92, I would assume that the folding hardtop on the G37 will add anywhere between 300-500 lbs. I know, you can't go off of a car that's entirely different, but whatever.

The G37 convertible will probably weigh in at anywhere between 3950-4150 lbs. Wow. It's gonna need another helping of torque.
