I took too many pics not to share this on the worlds stage as well :-)

A photo diary of our BMWFanatics Race Day 2019 in South Africa held at Red Star Raceway last month (about an hour up from Johannesburg at altitude)

Was split up into half day track + half day drag.

I don't think that was an El Camino but a Holden of some sort.

Here it is called a Chevrolet Lumina Ute, but it is actually an Australian build Holden Commodore Ute.

In the US the sedan version was sold as a Pontiac G8.

I had one like that, and while they are huge fun in a straight line, they are rubbish on the track. you need better cooling, better shocks and better control arm bushes.
