New Audi TT being launched tomrrow...
Anyone looking forward to the debut of the new TT? The current one is a design icon though a very much flawed car in the way of handling(as w/ most current Audi's excluding the B7 RS4). I hope the new car will not only be a better performer but more competitive and more than a VW Golf in lingerie. I'm sure we can most definately count on it being sexy.

I think the front end is one of the nicer parts of the car, but overall I like it a lot, more so than the Cayman and Z4 coupe(SLK is crap, IMHO). The wheels on the press pics car suck, the multi spoke rims on the car at the launch event in Germany looik great. In the PR it says that up to 19's are available on the car. If the B8 A4 looks anything like this new MKII TT, might have to look elsewhere than BMW.. we'll see.

i ABSOLUTELY LOVE the interior
so sporty. love the steering wheel esp. man does Audi know how to make an interior. they set the standard on interior fit/finish...and BMW... well pretty much everything else. |

I like it, but I won't buy it. Performance has never been a part of the TT, only gorgeous design. Man cannot live by design alone. We need thrusting performance as well.

I really like it. It's a nice evolution of the TT updated to the current design of Audi cars.
I think it looks much better than the other cars in its class (i.e. BMW Z4, Porsche Cayman). The Z4 has grown on me, but still hasn't grown on me as the rest of the BMW lineup has. The Cayman, despite it's glowing reviews, is still an UGLY car to me. The rear end reminds me of a tadpole; it doesn't look like its completed development. Take the styling of this new Audi TT and give it some of the handling from BMW and Porsche and you will have a great car.

Am I the only one who doesn't like it at all??? I think they totally ruined the plain yet timeless design of the first version.
Ewww, no thanks, I'll pass. |

I think it's VERY sharp-looking, but there are some angles I want to see in person before making a final judgement. The interior is absolutely stunning, though. Audi really does make an amazing interior. We'll have to see if this car is just form and no function. E90Pilot's right, the last one was really just a Golf in lingerie. Hopefully this one will have more oomph!
(if it does, I might have an idea where I'm looking next for a car )
