I was also thinking the same thing when I saw how much better the grills look on this Homage compared to the leaked photos for the next M4.

This grill is significantly better than everything we have been seeing. Its bigger and shaped differently for sure but it looks proportional. It doesn't look like an after-thought.

That's absolutely not happening, but SCOTT has hinted that the G42/G87 (particularly the latter, I suppose) will borrow some elements from this car. I wouldn't expect reactions like, "Wow - that's a dead ringer for the 3.0 Hommage!"; however, I suspect the front end will look similar.
