The drive would really have to capture my attention in order to sway me from a C63 or an M3. I'd loe for it to be good though. Competition = benefits for the consumer.

/\ Definitely. From what I've heard, the new V is a true competitor with the M3 & C63. That wasn't necessarily true with the last V, which was an attempt that didn't come out as well.

It is not competition for the M3. The CTS-V is soo much faster, in the M5 territory, and the M3 will outhandle the V any day of the week. Still a very interesting car though. I'm not at all liking the looks, but this is coming from a guy who hated the IS-F styling when he first saw it only to love its originality and pose as we speak. ??
