If I'm not mistaken, it's 2.5l...not 2.0l....!

Thanks for sharing though!

That car is badass. If I had to get a hatchback, that'd be the one for sure.

The wheels, wheel arches, and rear diffuser look CLK Black Series-esque.

This car will wipe the floor of the 335i and on the track will give cars like the M3,C63 and RS4 a run for their money.

Hmm...no...not really...no that's an exaggeration.

According to sources, a pre-production RS has been lapping the 'Ring in the low 8's, and it should hit around <8:20 in the final version. The 335i laps the Ring in 8:26. There's a possible 15 second difference, which isn't "whiping the floor" with the 3.

Did you guys know that it's FWD(Front wheel drive)????

Ford were originally going with AWD but thought that the added hardware is unnecessary weight add and, FWD with a differential could handle just as well.

I say BS. They just wanted to save money and keep the cost low. I don't care how good a differential is on FWD....at the end of the day, your still stuck with bad 'Understeer'.
Final verdict: it will always be AWD>FWD.

And here's a statement made by an engineer for Focus ST to make us believe a FWD was the better choice.

Quote:
We gave all-wheel-drive careful consideration – but by combining and tuning these elements and learning from Ford's expertise in industry-leading handling, we believe we can eliminate the weight of AWD from the car and still deliver a class-leading balance of traction, handling and performance.

"The result is a lightweight set-up, that will deliver the right blend of traction and razor sharp controllability – in a way no one would have expected from front-wheel-drive,"
