As a recent law school grad and newly minted attorney I've been writing a lot (notwithstanding my horrible penmanship and the fact that everything, including the bar exam, is done on computer now) and I've been getting more and more into pens.

Wanted to share my small and humble, but growing, collection and ask that Bimmerpost members do the same and engage in a fun and interesting discussion on the topic!

My pens (in order acquired)

1. Montblanc Meisterstuck Rollerball, gold - gift from my dad, it's gotta be 40+ years old, but honestly unsure (c. 2011)

2. Montblanc Meisterstuck Ballpoint, silver - gift from a close family friend after graduating college (2015)

3. Sheaffer "Ferrari" Fountain Pen - picked up at the Design Museum in London during their Ferrari exhibition (2018)

4. Montblanc Heritage Collection Rogue et Noir Special Edition Ballpoint - purchased at the Montblanc boutique at London Heathrow (2018)

5. Visconti Homo Sapiens Magma Ballpoint - gift after graduating law school (2019)

6. BMW ///M Rollerball - picked this up during break in service for my M4 a couple of months ago (2020)

7. Visconti Breeze Blueberry Fountain Pen - purchased a couple of weeks ago as a nice "beginner" fountain pen (2020)

I spend more time typing than I do writing so I've invested into keyboards rather than pens. Haha.

My father has got Montblanc , Parker and other brands . I'm not into too much those high end pens but I was latched on a pen made by Faber Von Castel .It was in wood box with other accessories . It was so outstanding but I couldn't justify the price tag and refused to buy it .I could buy a Montbalanc for it

I’ve got a no name carbon fiber pen I really like. The refill is gel like and does not smudge. I’m a lefty so that matters a lot. Will take a pic later and add.

I usually keep a write in the rain pen in my uniform sleeve for the sporadic occasion when I would have to take notes during a meeting or briefing, but after seeing this thread, I remembered I got these as gifts from BMW and dug them out to show off here, lol.

Ah yes! I actually received the blue and silver one (I think based on the BMW "i" series) a long while ago. Don't remember if it was after one of my services for my 335is or my first M3... regardless 5+ years ago now

I have to say I really like the BMW x Montblanc partnership, but don't feel like dropping $1200 on another pen at the moment

Been using Pilot G-2 0.7 pens for as long as I can remember. I get the big pack from Costco probably once a year or so to refill the missing ones.

Those are my favorite. Great pen for a price you would otherwise think that it would reflect poor quality.

I have some more expensive souviners from places I have done work for, but I never take them out.

The Pilot's are my workhorses!

My Karas Kustoms pens use the G2 refills, which is why I use them so much.

The main 3 I use and carry is one aluminum fountain pen with both a fine and a bold Bock titanium nib, one aluminum rollerball that takes the G2, and one rollerball that takes G2 that's machined from solid brass and copper.

I carry these in custom Rickshaw sleeves usually.

For my EDC I have a titanium pen with Parker pressurized cartridges.

I have a Waterman that I rarely use anymore. I have managed to lose 3-4 Mont Blancs. I’ve been using Pilot G2s lately. $5.99 for 2.

Congrats on passing the bar. Big e-file and e-sig movement on the streets so your pens should stay nice and new.
