Interesting video, given the fact that nothing at all happens!

My old lecturer at uni used to be chief engineer for cosworth, back in the days of turbo f1, ford sierra cosworths, jag xj220, etc... He drove an M5 as his daily, and we all commented that it mustn't be a normal configuration, surely. ...but we never asked, for some reason!

TL;DR: special one-off 400PS 3.8 E34 M5 originally built for an unknown VIP in UAE, with unknown modifications to the engine. Car now in Germany. WBSHC91050GD64558

0944 ZS allocated Leistungsgesteigerter Motor (400 PS)
Aufbau bei ZS-M-31, Herr Prerauer mit saemtlichen Anbauteilen! S38-Motor Nr. 60330869
Im Schadens- oder Reparaturfall sind Teile über ZS-M-3 zu beziehen. Der Verbau des Motors ist mit serienmaessigem Antriebsstrang und Fahrwerk wie HC91 zu erfolgen (gem. BA 8167.G).

0:18 he says in my opinion its the rarest.. the end.. actually combination maybe but there must be at least 2-3 special editions on E34 M5.. but my favorite is violet.. spent some with one of these and it was great..

Unless I missed it and he didn’t mention it, the only rarest E34 M5 is a turbo version with close to 450hp. Rumors has it only handful made it to North America.
