Need some Evo pro's help!

In another forum one dude is being a jack ass and acting like he knows all this crap. Can someone help me answer his questions to shut him up? Thanks...

what would be better for my evolution 8: an ecu flash by dynoflash or one by buschur racing?

would a turboback or catback system by better for a stage 1 setup? would it be necessary to add an air intake to the stage 1, or is an exhaust, ecu flash, and air filter satisfactory?

i am considering meth injection. what size turbo would you recommend to compliment the meth? or should i get a green turbo?

also, i have a set of 235/40/17 tires. would these be suitable to replace my stock advans?

do you think i would be able to reach 550 whp on the following mods?

hta35r kit, 1000 cc injectors, walbro fp, exedy twin disc, stock ecu, fuel rail, ams ic kit

if i'm looking for good spool and high torque, would a gt3076 be a wise choice over the hta35r?

Oh man..Why dont' you just join evolutionm.net ? They have all the answers to your questions..

Anyways,, here it goes.

Any reputable tuner will be able to tune stock ecu's with ease.
Buschur uses the basemap made by dynoflash and tweaks it per customer's mods. If you can go to BR for tune, by all means, please do.

You will benefit far more from good turboback exhaust system than catback.
Air intake can yield few more hp when 'TUNED', but without a tune filter is a wise option on stock turbo.

Meth works with any turbo. Size doesn't matter. Just know the consequences of using meth and go with a good system with proper fail safe.

Stock advans are 235/40/17 So yes it will work.

Depending on the type of fuel used and state of tune.
Hta35r is known to produce well over 650whp on dynojet on race gas.
However, you must have all the supporting mods to make those numbers.

With stock ecu, 1000cc will be hard to scale. You need an AEM EMS to run 1000cc injectors in most cases. You do not need fuel rails. You need a good intercooler and good set of cams. But the most important part is when you're shooting for 550whp is you need to have your block built.

With stock block 550whp is asking for trouble.

3076 does not spool that much earlier than hta35r and topend sucks.

30r generally sucks on evos.

You need to a whole lot of research before you jump into serious mods.
You will regret at the end if you don't.
