not a fast car by many standards but the motor makes excellent noises and everyone loves seeing it get used at the track a couple of times every year.

What annoys me is he missed many many quirks and features of the E34 in general, let alone the E34 M5. I've had an E34 of some sort in my garage since 2000. I've built my own 535iTm as well. He should have let me do the quirks and features part, including the 2+2 seating of the initial year, the mirror change for 1993, the color options, the HVAC differences, the suspension differences, blah blah....

That's kind of Doug's thing. I never watch him to know his opinion of how a car drives, as there are many other and better and more detailed youtubers for that. His schtick is quirks and features, and it has done him well as he is the #1 car channel on youtube. Personally I only watch certain videos of his to know the little insignificant quirks of cars, and once it gets to the driving portion I turn him off.
