Hi all! I'm a huge Honda fan, and recently got into BMW's. I still am a Honda fan and always will be. I was just curious if anybody else here works on project cars as well?

Here is my current project

And as you can see the "I love my Honda" sticker is real

Had the opportunity to buy a mostly clean EK hatch for $100 needed a new engine(swap time) and front core support front bumper. I unfortunately didnt have anywhere to store it at the time. Otherwise i wouldve loved to do a H22A swap with a half stripped interior and use it for autoX

With the absolute hard time I had trying to find a completely stock civic (eg,ek) I gave up for a year. And then this one popped up for sale at a junk yard. It drove home but of course had a lot of mechanical issues. I didn't care I just wanted the body anyway. Ended up paying $1000 for it

Terrible! You're killing the planet! EV is the only way to go and youre buying dinosaurs some of which probably dont even have cats! I thought you couldn't wait till all cars were EV as it's the only way to go but you're out there buying V8s? Hypocritical monster!!!

Just like the "stars" who cry climate change constantly, then they use private jets, yachts and exotic cars. The rules only apply to peasants.

Aside from my E92 335i that was supposed to be my untouched daily...I've also got an SC400 I keep calling a project, but can hardly find the time to work on it. It runs and drives and is currently in the beige to black interior change phase.

Well the UN is familiar lol. I had the same UN as well. I used to roll around in a '98 240sx (see sig), so I'm sure I ran into you at some point. I still stay in touch with a ton of people off Tennspeed.

Here's my project, haven't touched it for 8 years or so though. That all changes since I bought a house at the end of last year with a 3 car garage and it will be moving into the garage soon.

Anyways

1989 Mitsubishi Mighty Max Macro Cab with 4G63T out of 91 DSM(Eclipse), bagged, custom frame, engine bay, etc.....
All work performed by me.

Are the pics showing for you guys, should be 3?

I think I'm going to make a separate build thread for it, seems like not many people do projects here lol

Garage List
We have 3 Miatas as the main toys. Ill admit I was never a fan until I drove one. I have yet to drive another car(and Ive driven more than my fair share) that is as much fun or that reminds me what it is like to be an enthusiast. At that, fun per $$ is unbeatable.

nice project. I am a big honda guy and i always wanted to build me an EK hatch. I had an EK coupe and a EG bubble. both with some JDM goodies and JDM B16 swap.

cant wait to see the build in progress.

PS: IMO i think all civics should of had 5 lugs
