BMW has a new app to replace BMW Connected called My BMW. It isn't yet available for iOS in the US so I can't run it.

Does anyone have any details on this compared to Connected? Detailed review would be helpful. Especially surrounding the pain points of BMW Connected, like slowness to issue commands and etc.

Interesting... didn't even know there was a replacement being introduced. I just checked the play store and it shows as incompatible for my device (Samsung S20 Ultra). Might just need to wait and see since it's so new.

I have the app on my galaxy S10E.
Differences with the connected app are:
you can see window open but can't close it.
You cannot see the sunroof open.
You can enter a destination and send it to your car.
A command lasted about 10-15 seconds
I have a screenshot but the app is in Dutch with me.

It's already available in german iOS App Store.

Looks just like a different UI though. I don't see anything I couldn't do with the BMW Connected App.

It's on UK iOS App Store too... seems like a pointless refresh... less features than before.

I seem to be missing the following compared to 'old' app:

Flash headlights
Schedule ventilation
Check lock status of individual elements - windows/doors/boot etc

Same here, it doesn't work for all functions, i.e. the remote 3D is coming soon, and other functions are missing too

I would like the finally add of the alarm goes off and how many times..

I had problems with alarm in my car and it repeated milion times in night when I was abroad. Nothing worked so I had to unlock the car and let it as it is.

I was courios if does the alarm went off and how many times since that time.
I think its missed function because you almost never hear your alarm ring..

Yeah, my earlier post got overlooked on that front. It is only in the following:

The names of these apps are so pretentious it's almost shameful to have them on your home screen - "my bmw"? What names did they disapprove in the process?

At least "BMW connected" was a name about the tech

I checked Google Play Store a few minutes ago. While my search didn't yield this new app, I used the URL in first post to get a hit -- however, I got a message with it that says it isn't available in US.

I would very much be interested in what our European BMWers have to say about it. How does this app compare to current one? What functions are added? What's eliminated?
