What car should play KITT in the new Knight Rider film?

Thought this would be a fun discussion. So, a new Knight Rider film is in development from Furious 7 director James Wan. For those that don't know, the original Knight Rider starred David Hasselhoff as an ex-cop who became a private crime fighter under the new Identity "Michael Knight," and in help for his cases, he had a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am which was a technological masterpiece with artificial intelligence, self-driving technology, and a stronger shell and frame.

So, what modern car should play KITT?

I think that was for the previous remake in 2008 which didn't last long. I just noticed a bunch of articles about Knight Rider today so I think they haven't announced anything yet.

either a c7 corvette or challenger/charger. Charger would be the best since it will look just like the rest of the regular police cars. can't be an asian/euro vehicle for sure.
