I shouldn't but I LOVE how this thing looks (for the mini van cross over segment, it's not like my dream car )

Also I very much assume a few people have crossed over design teams as this genuinely looks like a BMW collaboration and how the next gen 2 Active Tourer could look.

Top trim models also get...an illuminated grill, hmm, where have we seen that before?

Up to 310 mile BEV range and a Vrs version coming soon. Looks like production later in the year and customer cars early 2021.

There is also an X6 Coupe style roofline coming. To my eye I'd have this over any of the announced VW iD variants, well done Skoda design team, pretty fresh design.

I suspect that a big part of why it looks a little like an MPV is due to the very long greenhouse / short hood. That's a direct result of the fact that it is built on an electric vehicle "skateboard" with no need to accommodate an ICE.

I agree, but if we include all VAG brands, the Cupra El Born is the best MEB vehicle so far in my opinion:

Yes true the El Born is another I'm watching with interest. Very bizarre they will only quote a 0-30 time for this car to date. Probably just to fool people who initially only skim read

The stir Dieselgate creates is unreal. Another topic I know.

Skoda has been staight up slaying it in the exterior styling department last few years. I see a ton of them in Germany, and last weekend I was in Czech Republic, where the company originated before being acquired by VW. One out of every 3 cars was a Skoda.

I like their stuff, good interior and exterior styling.

That C pillar treatment is very cliched at this point, for crying out loud even the Chevy Bolt has a version of it.
