Honda To Start Leasing Program for CPO Cars
Quote:
I wonder if BMW will start a similar program since more than half of people lease BMWs. |

interesting. obv used cars open a ton of variables and issues IMO but then again if the CPO process dialed in then I could see it maybe working but still seems like a lot of potential pros/cons

I would actually be interested in doing something like this on a Civic Hatch Sport as long as its a manual. I wonder what markets they are going to...
EDIT; I should actually read the article first next time LOL Wish they were coming to TX!

My expectation is that leasing a CPO Honda would not be much cheaper than a new one

1999-2001 Bank1(merged with Chase 04') had a program for many popular brands and could lease used cars and trucks. Problem was any factory subsidized thru residual or lease cash would be a lower payment on new. I doubt Honda is gonna decide a incentive to lease a CPO is more important than to keep the factory moving once inventory levels return to normal in a post covid world.
making flexible terms however is a game changer, if the same payment and less commitment thats a good plan. |
