Portable Vacuum Cleaner

I've been looking at a few portable vacuum cleaners on Amazon to use on the mats, seats, trunk, and other areas in the car, but they all seem to have complaints on the suction power and/or battery life - even the more trusted Black and Decker ones.

Do you guys have any that you use and are happy with?

Dyson handheld. Loads of suction power!

Same. Dyson with one of the car attachments. I also have a Bissell which is very strong (but that needs to be plugged in to a wall outlet).

I love the ease of use of our Dyson handheld, but find that the battery doesn't last through the whole car. If I just want to do the seats, or just the carpets or mats it does fine, but when doing everything including the trunk, I get out the plug in Dyson.

Looks like Dyson is the outright winner here. Thanks for the recommendations!

This one looks a bit more in my price range

Looks like there is some in stock at Bed Bath & Beyond for around $100

I have Dyson and I am satisfied but I do not like portable vacuum cleaners in general as they are not powerful enough.

Can't go wrong with the Dyson. They're expensive but worth it for their effectiveness and portability

Just purchased and received the RIDGID 50313 4000RV Portable Wet Dry Vacuum, 4-Gallon Small Wet Dry Vac with 5.0 Peak HP Motor. If you're looking for a dedicated vacuum for the vehicle, I definitely recommend. Cost is about ~$90 on Amazon plus I purchased the auto detailing kit which is another $15-25.

If you are in the US head over to Bed Bath and Beyond, they usually have plenty of vacuums in stock and you can utilize their 20% coupon!

I just got a Shark WV201 WANDVAC. It's small, lightweight, very powerful, and the attachments get into all the nooks and crannies of our M340xi. The link is for Amazon, but I purchased ours for less from an eBay seller.

I've had the all, Dyson, Meile and Tineco is the winner for ease of use and suction, never heard of them until Consumer Reports rated them very high. For my garage though I've got a Bissell Garage Pro and it's great to just be able to pull out a hose and hit a switch.

Thanks! Went to bed bath and beyond and got that last night! Haven't tried it yet but it definitely looks pretty cool.
