I watch most every BTCC race and have done for quite a few years.
Its a pretty fun series. The Australian V8 supercar touring car series is pretty good too...if you have coverage in the USA. |

We get it in spurts. For the longest time we got it no problem and then it went away. I was so happy a few months ago that they ran Australian V8 Supercar back to back with DTM & BTCC alternating weeks. I was in heaven!
With that said...I was very impressed with Ash Sutton's driving! I saw him go from 12th to 4th in like 4 laps and like 8th on the start to win a few times. Very exciting! I used to be a huge fan of Jason Plato when he was racing |

I like Ash as well...he is very aggressive but fair. The last races of the season were fun.
Didn't get to see much Aussie V8 supercars in 2020 for some reason...the first race of this season should take place soon though. Watched the odd DTM race but couldn't get into it. |

They narrowed manufacturers in DTM which makes it sort of boring IMO. I still watch it though because its still more fun than NASCAR! Our racing is REALLY boring AF. If the season starts I won't get to seen any of it until the summer I am guessing, they don't air them live here as far as I know.
Sutton was a real clean driver and yes...pretty aggressive which I enjoyed. And since I own an Infiniti it was great to root for my brand. LOL I was also impressed with Tom Ingram...that little Toyota was flyin! |

I like a bit BTC's, lots of good close racing & the third race of the day is usually very entertaining but I preferred watching it during the 90's.....then everything was better during the 90's

^ I try to attend the Brands Hatch venues where the campaign starts and finishes this year, naturally we support the BMW team of Turkington (4 times champ) and Oliphant, who else!

Yup he's back to try and get his 100th win in a PMR Astra after taking a break in '20. He holds the tally for most wins in the series at 98.

Awesome! I can't wait to see how he does. Like I said he was always one of my favorite drivers. He was pretty fast in the Chevy Cruz...should be interesting to see how the Astra does
