What cars are you looking forward to and why?
I'd like to see what cars you all are looking forward to. They don't have to be anything in particular besides something you may be interested in checking out to buy or just interested to see what it's going to be like. Mine is this... I think it will be nice to get back to the basics, things that make a car fun, not too complex and not too expensive. It looks nice, is supposed to be light and have either a 2.0L 4 cylinder NA or 4 cylinder motor with a small turbo. Too bad this thing isn't supposed to be around until freakin 2010 or 2011...

Ferrari California - I honestly really like it, it's a nice blend between the F430 and the 612.
F10 5-Series - New M5!!

I am looking forward to the next generation Porsches, and sports cars in general. Sooner or later everyone is going to realize that it make a car faster and more economical you must increase lightness.
Unfortunately we all expect ALL of the luxo items in our expensive sports cars, but lets put more of the 'sports' back into the sports cars. |

The E46 M3 I am going to get when I finish university.
Oh wait, that's not how you meant the question. Um...I am looking forward to the new M5 because I do not know how they are going to make it look any better than it does now. |

Honestly, I'd like to see the new Camaro. I've got no plans to own one, but I'd like to see them around, see what people do with them. I like a few of the retro-muscle cars - that, the Charger, the new Challenger. Who knows, we may even see a re-emergernce of that 80s high-school parking lot staple - the Chevy Nova.

I'd have to break it down into manufacturers...
Audi: -B8 S4: I'd like to test out the new tech, see how the handling compares, and just get a good feel for it and its new SC'd V6. I'd like to see the S5 for the same reason - new engine. -B8 RS4/RS5: For obvious reasons. Who knows what it'll look like or what kind of monstrous figures it'll have. -R8 V10/R12TDi: I'd kill to have the standard R8. I've seen a test mule R8 V10, and I've drooled over R12 pics. There hasn't been much word on them as of late, but I'm definitely expecting the latter to be an eventual reality. BMW: -F01 7 Series: I've been drooling over the pics. I've been ecstatic about the interior. I've heard nothing but good news so far. What's not to like? Some call it tacky, some call it conservative. I love it. -E89 Z: Looks gorgeous in pictures. Maybe a bit large, and I'm not a fan of verts, but it's still very interesting, given its uniqueness relative the rest of the BMW range. -F10 5 Series: I would kill to see a TT V8 fitted to the new 5 series chassis. Who knows what kind of performance numbers we'll see? I've also read up here that the 8-Speed Auto might debut with its launch. Hmm. Mercedes: -E-Class: It's new and it looks promising. There's been a couple of renderings on this site leaving a sour taste in peoples' mouths, but if anyone has any sense they'll ignore the fake stuff and wait for the real deal. The interior is the only thing that leaves me completely uninterested. -SL Black Series: I want to see one in person. No, there's no explanation required. Infiniti: -G37s Sedan: The G35 seems to be about as fast as the coupe with the 3.5L engine, how's it gonna stack up now? Can't wait to find out. I'd also like to try out the new 7-Speed auto. Ferrari: -California: I feel like this is just one of those cars that you HAVE to see in person. The body surfacing looks complex. It'd be nice to see it moving under lighting. Lamborghini: -That crazy sedan. Dunno the name, but it looks badass. Aston Martin: -One-77: I HAVE to see this. I want to know if it'll be another forgetful(ish) DB9 spawn-off, or if it actually has a dose of originality for a change. Here's hoping for the latter. Chevy: -Camaro: It handles well, it looks good, and apparently even the V6 version is great fun to drive. Finally, a modern muscle car done right! Volkswagen: -The NEW GTi!: I have no idea why, but I REALLY want to see this car. It looks amazing so far. Nissan: -370Z: It'll probably destroy a 335i in the twisties, and give a stock one a big run for its money in the straights. Bargain performance ftw. And it should look good too, with those massive fenders. Lexus: -LF-A!: What happened to this thing!? I want to see it badly. It sounds like it should be crazy. Had a great stance based off of the last spy pics. Acura: NSX: We've seen renderings and pretty revealing spy pics. Lets see the real thing. Supposedly it's going to overtake the GTR's performance abilities. That sounds like a huge claim. I hope they manage to do it - just means better choices for the consumer. There's more I'm sure. I just can't think of them at the moment.
