I stopped in the local exotic car dealership today, and they had a current model Wraith on the showroom floor. What presence. The interior is at the highest level.

Agree on the size of the Wraith, it's enormous. I walked around it twice. The rear glass, C-pillar and decklid are amazing. So much beautiful bodywork. It's large. And in charge.
The dealer was prepping a Bentayga in the shop. Cool stuff. |

Agree, those RR's definitely have presence, and they are behemoth's in person, I never realized how long and tall the Phantom was until standing next to it. They truly feel like cars for that of Royalty.
As for the Bentley interiors, they are nice, however they are more modern and designed to show off the technology. And the quality of materials is excellent, but the Rolls is just another level up in comparison. The Rolls just has a classical feel to it. The manual HVAC controls and sliders covered in stitched leather, high quality metal and chrome switchgear and speakers, the thin rimmed steering wheel, rear hinged suicide-doors, lamb's wool carpeting, and I love the star light headliner. Its very retro modern. |

I actually thought the Bentley interior was quite a bit better than the Rolls in quality of materials and design. Just my opinion but the RR feels too much like an old man car, seat design too plain, didn't think the leather was as nice as the Bentley, etc. I can't afford either one but when these new Continental GT's are in the $100k range I'm in.

Yes, it's always been the case that Rolls are cars to be driven in, and Bentleys are cars to drive. They are both at the pinnacle of sedan luxury.
I don't particularly care for the RR and Bentley SUVs. I think MB does a great job with the GLS and the Lambo SUV is a fun thought exercise. |
