How are you cleaning your wheels?
I have the 825 Bicolor wheels and love them, but wow do the black parts of the wheel show a ton of brake dust and it's a pain to clean off from all of the little parts of the wheels. The dust doesn't get cleaned off in the touchless washes (or even the one time I ran it through the regular wash). I guess I'm going to have to get a wheel brush to clean in all the areas.
Has anyone used some of the wheel sealers like this stuff? https://www.autogeek.net/blackfire-sio2-wheel-seal.html How easy was it to apply, how long does it last and how well does it do for repelling brake dust?

CarPro iron x for the dust. Ceramic coating for wheels. Doesn't really stop the dust but way easier to clean. I use CarPro hydro lite 2. It's a spray on wash off , I get 6 - 8 weeks per application. Tip make sure wheels are perfectly clean or ceramic coating will seal in the dirt. Of course you can use a coating that lasts longer, I use the hydro lite because it's convenient. Oh I use both with a power washer, not a must though.

I have the 826 bi-color's and these things are a nightmare to keep clean. Honestly the pads BMW uses create way to much dust. Hopefully there might be some aftermarket low dust pads in the future we can try if they don't cost to much.
I bought some of those wheel woolies and just scrub a dub dub. My pressure washer doesn't do much and I have to scrub every time. I think a coating would help some but I think it's just something were going to have to deal with unfortunately. |

I use one of the mini California dusters to dust off the wheels of my vehicles every so often. Doesn't get them perfectly clean but it will help with them from getting too bad.

I was wondering about the pressure washer at the DIY place, but it sounds like that's not a great solution either.

California Car Duster 62447-8B Mini Duster https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01LRHGM...4KVX08KGS45AF1 Works great to dust the wheels off between washes.

I can confirm it takes about 15 minutes per wheel to include the brake calipers

After owning half a dozen cars with Brembos and black wheels, I'll gladly pay the $8,100 for CCBs. Brake dust makes the car look like it hasn't been washed in a week, if you drive it 5 miles.

I’m thinking of ordering the 825’s on Alpine White. Does anyone know if the Orbit Grey finish hides the brake dust better than the others?

Sonax Wheel Cleaner Plus works great - usually doesn’t need any agitation to clean the wheel. I would recommend trying that.

I bet it would. One of the reasons my 825 bi-colors show the dust so much is because the inner parts are black. If the whole wheel was essentially brake dust color I imagine that would go a ways towards hiding it some.

Whichever wheel cleaner you use, don't let it dry on the wheel. Most can damage clear coats or bare metals if left on too long
