I need help picking out car wash stuff
I'm done bringing my car to a hand wash, the guys are blatantly disrespectful (revving the car, leaving fingerprints and water marks on the screens inside the interior, etc) and I want to wash it myself anyway
I go on to Adam polishes website but there's so much stuff to choose from im overwhelmed I'm cool with getting a power washer but I need help picking out shampoos, windshield product, etc etc Can someone recommend what to buy? I'm genuinely lost and would greatly appreciate some guidance All insight welcome! What do you guys use?

U Tube the following web site. " Pan The Organizer " He's very helpful with How to wash /wax/dry cars. Lots of Wax's and sealants and
what type of towels to use. Also has car detailing awards and list the winners. |

AmmoNYC on YouTube also has a great collection of detailing basics videos, although he's usually slinging his own products. I watch him more for tips and strategy on the process. Welcome to the rabbit hole that is car detailing, though, It's very very deep. But c'mon down. We have snacks! |

Here are some brands to look into:
-Carpro -Adam’s -Gyeon -Sonax -Meguiars -Griots -Rag Company (for all towels needs) Tons of reviews on these companies and their products. There’s a long list of items you’ll need, but it ranges for every person based on how much you actually want to detail your car. If you have specific questions happy to help. |

Carpro makes great products but at the end of the day it really depends on what you want.
For soaps, I really like the chemical guys honeydew snow foam soap. It works great out of a basic foam attachment to your hose. Chemical guys sells the foam cannon on amazon for about 45 bucks, but there are cheaper options that work just as well. I highly recommend a foam cannon attachment for your hose though. Sonax makes great products, I really like the interior and leather cleaners. If you have any alcantara in your car the Sonax Alcantara cleaner is a must buy. I also use Sonax Extreme Wheel Cleaner Plus. It does a great job cleaning the brake dust off of these fancy wheels. Gyeon makes good products, but if you are just washing the car, they won't have as much for you. They do have a great 1 year coating that is pretty easy to apply though. Lastly, amazon makes a good deal of detail brushes, and inexpensive wash mits, I have used them for years and they are great. I just order a new one every few months to keep them fresh. There is also a towel company called CarCarez on Amazon. They make great edgeless towels that are the cheapest you will find them. |
