What’s the most heroic of all the BMW models? If you said the BMW 2000, the Neue Klasse family sedan, then you’re absolutely correct! If you didn’t, well let Marc and Christoph convince you why it’s the right answer, in this episode of Inside BMW Group Classic.

This was my first car and exact same color….a 1969 BMW 1600 which had the round taillights. My mother imported it from Germany to South Africa before I was born. She handed it down to me when I went to university in 1991. Sadly, it met it's fate when a delivery vehicle sped through an intersection and I t-boned it. I miss that car to this day.

My first BMW was a Fjord Blue 1976 2002 just like this pic and stick shift too - that is why I became a fan and still drive them 45 years later.

The two "real" classics that I would love to restore and keep one day would be a 2002 and a 2800cs, both late 60s models.
