Noise when turning steering wheel, need your opinion!

Hi! Got an issue a couple of mechanics couldn't nail down:

Noise from the front right and under the driver when turning the steering wheel right or left at low speed. Noise is rhythmic and it goes the same speed as the car's movement.

The noise happens while the car is reversing or driving straight or on neutral and rolling downhill freely.

When a mechanic removed the front drive shaft making it rear wheel drive only the problem completely went away!

This problem started after I drove into a deeper water on the road and the hitting the water was hard enough that some of the bottom covers in the car got torn.

Please let me know what you think it is! And thank you so much!
