truth. about a fifth of the world has a roundworm, of course poorer countries have a higher rate than places like the united states. there are also worms you cannot see either, such as nematodes. I've heard some figures though estimate that about 90% of the US population has some sort of worm in them. Most are very, very small, with the exception of the roundworm and the infamous tape worm. Then you have species of bugs that lay eggs under your skin where the worms (maggots) hatch and crawl through a hole in your skin later, such as the human bot fly, but that's another story. There's a lot of sick shit out there.
