Sierra Snow
We spent Christmas in Tahoe, and got snowed in. My wife kids were planning on staying for a couple of weeks (which they did), I was planning on going up for Christmas then home to work and then back for New Years...that didn't happen. I tried to come home on Sunday after Christmas, after about 3 hours in white out conditions I headed back to the house and after a couple of day accepted that I was having my longest vacation in about 14 years....it was pretty nice! I will have had this place for 10 years this summer, and this winter is the first time I have stayed a full week in it.
Some pictures. One that doesn't look like much is the trench i dug to get to the hot tub in the back yard. I also shoveled the deck off 3 times and the piles kept coming back. The dog has a dog door, and stays out in the snow as much as we will let him. |

That's absolutely beautiful from 82 degrees today...It truly is wonderful to look at when its pure and first fallen but as soon as the road slush turns brown and nasty it can just go away.
Great looking pup and home |
