Thrift store is the ultimate place to learn about people!
Ok…
So the dolls…. Either someone passed away and it's part of an estate… Or… they all are haunted and the poor bastard just dumped their problem on unsuspecting strangers browsing in a store knowing some doll freak is going to buy the whole rack. Poltergeist city. They all are looking at me. The wheel chair.. Look at the name of the company…! That's a pretty big elephant to address.. In the chair because of Karma….? Or, Karma to the one who abuses the disabled person in the chair? |

Wheelchair does have the wheelie-bars installed
The dolls kinda remind me of that Geico commercial, when they go into the attic of the new house, and all those mannequins are partying. Thrift stores are too much like estate sales. Have you no shame, going thru dead peoples' stuff looking for bargains??? |

I visited those stores a couple of times, it's eye-opening and pretty depressing stuff. Feel bad for ppl who can only shop there.

I grew up in a small town where most people didn't have much. Majority of people's clothes, furniture and gifts came from thrift shops. People think it's hip now shopping at these places but I remember when it was out of necessity. (Still is for some of course) Nice thing is most of my friends including myself have moved back into the area and are doing well for themselves. The town has completely changed. My wife will occasionally want to look through thrift shops to get things for projects, makes me uncomfortable. |

Maybe the wheelchair is a Fisker.
I have a friend who’s made a career of thrifting high-end clothing and putting them on eBay. He says you wouldn’t believe how many $500 pants have urine-stained crotches |

Thrift store is the ultimate place to learn about people!
Our local thrift store was recently broken into. The thieves only stole the pocket knives.
So yes, we learned that our thieves are very picky.

Pssshh....uh yeah, all of them. Why else would I go to a thrift store to get them. I like stuff already broken in.....aside from the ladies, the next guy can appreciate me breaking them in.

It is sometime humorous to observe the t-shirts that I KNOW the local farmworkers have picked up at a thrift. I just can't see these guys as original owners of Slipknot/Metallica/HD/Pink Floyd shirts
