That was awesome. Did you actually watch it? It's not even the company itself or the police department complaining that it interferes with their system. It's some random "professor" and a news crew that decided to make a story. If anything, I'd bet the gunshot system doesn't see these as false positives because anti-lag does not have the supersonic crack that you get when a bullet breaks the sound barrier.

All those poor so͍ybois crying in the video were wonderful. I don't watch the news anymore, but thank you for this tidbit. It made me laugh.

Maybe ShotSpotter should make their technology suck less. According this it doesn't detect actual gunshots on 90% of the triggered sounds - https://www.aclu.org/news/privacy-te...ection-system/

There have also been numerous reddit threads about how it rarely works and winds up using police resources to check out incidents that don't exist, among other issues like invasion of privacy, warrantless search, etc.

But yeah the burble tunes are trash

I guess my car is no longer cool since it came with the burbles from the factory. Should I have an aftermarket tuner take them out even though I have no interest in messing with the engine otherwise? I want to stay cool even if factory BMW no longer is.
