RIP - Gilbert Gottfried

So Sad - @67

https://www.usatoday.com/story/enter...ss/7293400001/

"We are heartbroken to announce the death of our beloved Gilbert Gottfried after a long illness," his family said. "In addition to being the most iconic voice in comedy, Gilbert was a wonderful husband, brother, friend and father to his two young children. Although today is a sad day for all of us, please keep laughing as loud as possible in Gilbert's honor."

His family paid for a wing at my wife’s old animal hospital in NJ. Seemed like a good family

RIP Aflac Duck voice

Saw Gilbert in concert a few years ago.
Was a nice evening. Reading today about his illness he probably wasn't in great health when I saw him which is all the more remarkable that he could perform flawlessly and energetically.

A very funny comic, a shame he's gone at such a young age.

He was hilarious, but not without controversy. He went to the edge, opened the door and walked right through to tell his next joke. Eyes closed and no sense of when it was too soon to tell a joke. Funny and shocking.

RIP funny man but you better be looking over your shoulder. I'm sure Jackie O, 911 victims, Japanese tsunami victims, and many others may be looking to have a little chat with you.

Gilbert's philosophy was that it was never "too soon"!

There was nobody funnier than him at a roast and he will be missed!
