Blow Dryer
What blow dryers are you guys using? This will be my first time personally blow drying my own vehicle. My X5 is jet black and ceramic coated, so I'm trying to avoid scratches/swirls as much as possible.
TIA! |

Not sure if it's available in the U.S (I'm in the UK) but I use the BigBoi BlowR Mini+ it's a fantastic piece of kit.

I use the Adam's Air Cannon and absolutely love it, definitely recommend if you wash your own vehicle.

I will add, the Air Cannon is pretty loud so ear protection wouldn't be a bad idea. |

This thing will blow a small a child over so use caution lol!
Pricey but I had a $100 off credit plus 20% off coupon at BBB so made it worth it in my opinion. Plus it’s a great blower for the garage and cleanup. Power is incredible! https://www.amazon.com/MasterBlaster...0cdfdb93%7Cdtp |

I use the corded Metro Vac Air Force Blaster Sidekick. It does a good job of getting the water out of the crevices and is a good first step before using a waffle weave drying towel. It is not going to do a touchless dry.
One of the guys doing PPF on my car used the Metro Vac Air Force Master Blaster 8 HP and forgot to secure the hose when he powered on the dryer. The hose was flailing around my unprotected car before he powered off the unit. There is a Chemical Guys dryer that looks like it is the same unit. The Master Blaster will have more blowing power than the Blaster Sidekick, but the Sidekick is compact, portable and easier to maneuver. I saw a professional detailer use a Kobalt 40 V Max battery powered handheld leaf blower. It is nice to have a cordless blower so you don't have to keep the cord off the paint. (To keep the electrical cord off the car when using the Sidekick, I drape the cord over my shoulder.) |

Concur, if you use this you will never go back to a leaf blower- light, powerful, only have to blot the remaining drops

Do you guys using a leaf blower get an extra tapered end piece, for the extra force?

Love all ego products especially the leaf blower. Plenty of power and battery last an hour. I went from blowing hardscape monthly to weekly when I moved from corded to ego. Their not inexpensive but the pain at purchase is quickly overcome with joy while using.
