Suggestions on a girl situation...?
So I've been somewhat seeing this girl for the past month or so and now she wants to "become exclusive" or whatever....basically asked to be my girflriend. Here is the problem however. Since our first meeting, she's put on about 15lbs. WTF? I've seen this girl thin which is what hurts so badly...she's probably an 8.5 normal weight, now she's like a 6.5. She's awesome otherwise, cooks for me, very nice, great in bed, etc...
Question is..what do I do about this situation? I don't have the heart to outright tell her to lose the weight, and otherwise I can't really date her seriously.

A lot of girls give up the gym once they are nearing "mission completed" status...that is, hooking up with a man on their radar sights.
The only thing I would be worried about is whether she's capable of putting on *additional* weight on top of that extra 15 lbs - that wouldn't be good --- you don't want an Anna Nicole Smith! My fiancee pulled the same maneuver on me but only gained 5 lbs but she still looks good but better yet, she maxes out and can't gain more. Pretty funny you're pulling out numbers too - I remember those good 'ol days when I was still single with my homies and we'd whisper out numbers whenever any broad walks past us. "What? You gave her an 8? Put on your glasses, man!" 6.5 sounds like a big drop from an 8.5 so maybe you should get her to work out. Obviously you don't tell her straight up to cut down on that fat but instead, do it gentleman's style by going to the gym yourself and suggesting that she should come along and work out along with you.

I've got a really good system, a scale based on -10 to 10. I think this is a more scientifically valid scale in which a -10 would be like someone who's 500lbs or something, and a perfect 10 would be practically impossible to achieve (beautiful, athletic, smart, independent yet dependant on you, funny, and never complains about anything).
So, using this system, a girl who is a 0 is just about average...not great looking, not bad looking, maybe a little dry personality, not so athletic, ect. Yep, I think this scale is much better! |

Hey sharp, that is a whack scale! Way too many increments and having a scalre from 0-10 with no half points would be better. When you're at a bar and a little buzzed with your homies, you don't have time to think at the spur of the moment about which number out of 19 possible ones to pick!

Hmm interesting situation..
I tend to do the opposite when i get involved with a guy. In the beginning, i usually try and go to the gym more often so i can look banging for him. I dont want him to lose interest and what not. When i was with my X, i stopped working out, but that was after a year of us being together, and the weird thing is.. i lost weight when that happened.. and he thought i got too thin. As for your situation, i agree that maybe you guys should go to the gym together. Its easier to work out with a partner because you get more motivated. Plus, if you know what your doing, you can help her do the right techniques..etc. ALSO, after working out/sweating your body released endorphines which is a natural aphrodisiac. Gets the blood pumping to all parts of the body ha ha. Im not sure if you should tell her that shes gained weight, esp so early into the relationship. I dont think you've reached that level to comment on it.

I have to critize her for asking you to be exclusive. Its only been a month, i mean.. dude give it time. Plus in alot of situations, the commitment just usually happens, its not something that you need to plan, ask, give a date..etc. She needs to chill on that or else she will really lose you. Because the moment you put a label on it, thats the moment where you will start looking for problems or reasons to not be with her (hence, what your doing now).

Here are my current options I'm considering:
- Say how I'm going to get myself in shape, cause it's summer time and tell her how I'm going to the gym everyday. - Say "You know, I don't really care what they said. I don't like dating skinny girls." (this should get into her head a bit, yet make me look like i'm not asking her to lose weight) - Tell her how my ex got me into the relationship by losing all this weight so I could not refuse. I think option 3 would be the most effective, 2 could be quite risky/mean, and 1 is just sort of an offchance she'll bite on that comment.
