Apple Music
Any long time subscribers here? I get offered 6 free months every time I buy an Apple gizmo, so I finally took advantage today. I have until Feb 2023 to cancel, but in the meantime I'm trying to figure out how it all works between devices and more importantly, how to turn the damn thing off when I'm done listening. LOL

I use it but I couldn’t teach you bc I’m virtually clueless also….if it’s your phone or iPad, pull down from the top right to open the control center and hit stop or pause on the player in the control center

It's great. I use it all the time. What do you need help with? (Other than finding pause)

If I download the tunes from my playlist, do they save as mp4s that I can then save to a thumb drive or SD card? How does that work with tunes you download? Used to be with iTunes you could burn those to a CD or whatever. Is it all totally cloud based? Like if I'm in Music on the Apple TV and I'm listening to a song on my playlist, then I pause it and get in my car and bring up Music on my iPhone, does it pick up at the same place I left it on the Apple TV? (This should probably be in the "You know you're old when..." thread.)
