Angry Ceramic pro "elite installer" bs

Been dealing with this since February so guess I'm here to vent at this point. Corporate been no help. Told me to take it back to same installer for removal and refund but won't acknowledge razor strokes, broken/damaged pieces or the wheel "powdercoating" defects. Have 45 minute hidden recording of Rob craven making every excuse for me to accept this as is "really knocked it out the park, contamination is part of it, we're talking mm from the edge". This was at ceramic pro houston elite installer and head of training rob cravens facility. If this infuriates you check out the album I made after first and second pick up. $8k is what I paid, invoice in album.

I talked enough smack about Rob craven to his colleagues he called me up yelling "he isn't the one" the hung up and blocked me. I replied with a group email stating we can fight but need my car fixed first.

Whats funny is so many people have this type of work on their cars, and notice absolutely none of it. Most have 0 idea of what they are looking at...

Sorry to see this. Hopefully you can get some of this fixed.. because that's dog shit.

The initial salesman showed pictures of others work not as bad as this saying that isn't what I wanted and go with them cause wrap edges/tuck corners. Then this guy undersized plot for the most minimal amount of material and time.

That's some amateur work right there. For what you paid and you get that result sucks.

So they're saying that's acceptable and not gonna fix it? BS service

I almost feel like if the OP did the work himself, it'd have turned out better. Painful to see this. This is most of the reason why I took my car to the reputable shop that wanted $13K instead of the coin-toss of a place that would do it for $8K-ish (labor is very expensive in the Seattle area).

No, saw their advertisements and found the closest "elite" installer. Presell was nothing like this.

Original invoice was something like 11k. Salesman discounted cause bringing in brand new car straight from dealer and getting every product they offered.

Absolutely pathetic display of craftsmanship. It's like you allowed me to take a stab at it. Sorry man, I feel for you.

What's not up to snuff usually get redone, especially at your price point. The best places redo whatever is needed before you get the car back the first time.

Unfortunately, here, it looks like it's a whole lot of panels. Don't yield until they take care of all their mistakes. Worst case scenario, if you paid by card, dispute the charge with evidence of bad service and them not doing anything in good faith.

I have screenshot in the album linked of the shop owner saying he redid the window film while it has the same marks as originally. They want to just refund it but won't acknowledge damage to paint/rear reflector/ c pillars from cutting, wasted decals and botched color change on wheels. I paid cash to save them the credit card fee out of respect for the discount given, not ever expecting issues like this from such a company.

Agreed. It's hard to trust anyone these days, especially when we all care about our vehicles and only want the best.

OP - 8 racks is a lot…we all hope you're gonna get some compensation back!

Wow
This is really bad and I'm sorry for you.
I've had prior vehicles done, and it was never perfect.
And I'm a perfectionist, and lived with the inherent warts in PPF.
Not this round
Not doing it
Just going to be spaced away from cars in front.
And enjoy the factory paint.
Not worried about rust with plastic and aluminum front panels.

Good luck with restitution…

I've been talking with the vp David dick for past 2 months directly. He promised to help but at this point more think he was biding time to close the shop and get a total view of my side for if things went to lawyers.
