The Queen of the United Kingdom of GB and NI, Elizabeth II, has died.
I'm reading that all BBC programming is interrupted and all the news anchors are wearing black but no official report.

May she Rest In Peace. Hell of a life indeed.
I work for a UK based company that has won a few awards where we can send members to meet her at a reception at the palace. If we ever win again I'm next to go, always wanted it to be with the Queen.

Very sad news today. Doesn’t seem real to be honest and can’t say I’m looking forwards to King Charles’s reign as I don’t like the guy!

I knew this morning <canadia time EST> it was going to happen, the first announcements of her health and her children going to visit her bedside was a dead giveaway. I SMS'd my other half to say as much, sure enough was SMS'd that t had happened this afternoon again EST.
TBH not an overall fan, but still have to respect another human being and a families loss, I wouldnt say I'm a royalist, but I do fly a UK flag at home I never did in the UK, lol weird, maybe thats not so much royalist but patriot ? She had the best of everything, food, doctors, treatment, didnt have to work, so it's really no surprise she lived that long, I think the average mortality age in the UK is about 80. Latest pics I saw were pretty bad, she went down hill pretty fast. All that crap with megan and fanboy didn't help. If your rich and have everything and live in the lap of luxury with servants to dress and wash you, do I feel sad ? A poor man/woman struggling to live and leaving nothing for there familly and maybe going to a paupers grave. One thing for sure, we come into this world with nothing and we take nothing, we gotta stand before God to answer for everything we have done.. THAT is all that counts |
