How Dark on Tints did you go
This is going to be a subjective ?
Granted Angle of Sun, Interior Color, Is Sunroof Open, Sunroof Shade Open. LOL, my tinter loves me as I'm always back getting the job done twice Front WS a@ 70 and 30% on the fronts. I did not want the fronts to be 20%. Too dark.... Rear and Runroof specs are fine - 70% on those as the factory dye is dark enough. I don't like the looks of 20 or darker on front's. A smidge lighter looks better IMO. A smidge... Back in the days, I even went Llumar as they made a 25% But the 30% is a wee too light IMO. Just light enough that I'm going back to get it redone. Maybe 55% on the windshield will make the fronts just right. And or, eh, going to go 20% on the fronts. Interior isn't a light color as well. Not dark though. Tartufo. On your pic, yeah, 30% front with 70% windshield looks fine on overcast, semi cloudy.
I know it won't be universal in all lighting conditions. Gotta pick my battles I suppose. Just seems a bit too light when it's sunny. Parking street side on a curb may require window rolldown IME. I think maybe just doing the front WS from 70 to 55% should make it a happy medium. But ....on the flip-side, in low light scenarios, I can definitely tell the difference when driving with a tinted vs untainted windshield. |
