Rear view camera in the rain sucks

Has anyone had any good results with anti-fog or waterproofing their rear view camera lenses?

Cat Crap. No, don't run to the litter box.
I use this on my NODs, works great, works on just about any lens but will need to be reapplied after washing. Little tub lasts a long time. Not a panacea though.

Is it the camera lense being dirty.....
Just the way the air flows....it's always filthy in the back.

Add wind/speed driven water that is picking up dirt/oil from the roads as it splashes..

Yeah I know, but my GLE43 coupe had a hidden rear cam that was covered by a little door that would open when putting the car in reverse. Never had that issue. Surprising how easily my X6 can gets so dirty and makes the camera useless.

I keep the cars pretty well *sealed, coated, waxed*, whatever fad word of the day....

But nothing topical is going to just fix the issue - exposed lense in the dirtiest portion of the car.

Other brands (Porsche for one I think) have washers to clean dirty rear cameras.

I'm on my 5th and 6th X5 and they've all had that issue, especially in winter. And has been said, everything I've tried hasn't helped. I've taken to shoving a Kleenex in my pocket and doing a quick wipe when I return to the car, so at least it starts off clean.

I see amazon has it as well. They made me give back my NODs, but I'm going to give it a try on the camera lens, thanks for the tip!
